Changed Memory

Well just today i had a 256 memory, so then my dad changed it to a 512. Ever since then when i try to play css i get little lags, like i just freeze for like 1 sec. Just like little bumps. I dont know but you guys know whats going on?

 

Maybe your RAM speed setting isnt good, did you plug another 256MB in or did you remove your old 256 and put a single new 512 in ?

 

I had two - 128 Memory Cards = 256MB

Then i took that out and i added two - 256 Memory Cards = 512MB

 

look at the sticks. Is the speed of the new stuff the same as the old. and what are the timings.

 

Well i have the new one right now it says 3.3V

I have no clue what that is, im just looking at it. Im not all that of a computer geek, my dad is the one who put it.

 

Are they the smae brand and speed? is the type fully compadable with your motherboard?

i dont think it has anything to do with your ram
