    ok guys...im trying to network my xbox (original) to my computer

    the back of my tower only has 1 ethernet port....would a splitter solve that problem or not...

    and if that works...how do i get a new connection rather then a local area connections on my control pannel

    are you trying to connect your X-box to the internet? then you'd need a router.

    If you need any more help, let me know..

    no i have a router but im trying to network my xbox bc my routers space is being taken up and i heard that this could be done....??

    hmm, i would just get an extra or larger router.... I believe you could do it, but I've never done it, so I dunno..

    You can do that but it is slow and you can't have them on the internet at the same time.
