ok heres my tut on how to make a simple c4d render first make a sphere (objects > primitive > sphere) then click "c" on ur keyboard and go to stucture > edit surface > crumple and put these settings and put random numbers from id say 20-90 or what i used.

then go to crumple once again but this time in the z radius and x radius put 0 and the x radius put 1000 then zoom out a bit and in tools on the toll bar selet inverse kinematics and move the render around till the front of one end is facing you like this

now go to crumple again and start adding random numbers between 20-90 about 3 times then go in edit surface to matrix extrude (note for some reason some people dont have that so if u dont have it dont post it on my thread) and leave the settings but in the scale settings put a random number between 40-70

and now your basiclly done, now what you do is make another object and follow this tutorial again and use your own settings and different shapes so you have 2 renders and potion them in a good postion and if u want you can repet this tut again with a diff shape and diff settings and then add a material and a hypernurbs (objects > NURBS > hypernurbs) and put all the renders in it so its more smooth and i got these

This can also be done with the keyboard stroke "C", I believe. It simplay makes it so you can change the polygons around. ;)

"c" is to make it edible, but he says go to edit surfaces> crumple so i think what everyone is trying to say is they cant find the crumple tool.

i dont have it as well =(

after playing around with c4d i figured it out. c4d 8 has the surface>edit surface>crumple.

anyone who cant find crumple is using c4d 9. you can find the toool by going to surfaces>set point value

they merged that tool with another for some reason. hope everyone finds this helpful
