SP2 doesnt slow down your computer that much. unless you have an old system...

I had it built in on my Win XP disk..

There are disks you can get with SP2 on, if you have XP SP2 is pretty much an essential. It fixes some major bugs / exploits and you can benefit from the added security. It really shouldn't slow down your computer much. There isn't really a reason to uninstall it, i doubt it would make much difference.

it could very well be sp2 <_<

on my old computer (woot 500mhz), when i installed sp2, it lagged tremendously...like it was already slow, but it made it alot slower...but oh well, i just learned to live with it..

i would keep sp2 cuz of all its goodness, just get used to the slow speeds, thats what i would do

SP2 can be a pain in the ass sometimes, especially when it caused me a a bunch of FTP problems which I had to spend an hour fixing.
