    hey mates
    yesterday (Sunday)
    i was downloading my brothers game (Battlefield 2) demo off the net
    and once i tried to install it
    my computer shut down instantly and then restarted by itself
    then once everyething opened up the screen was blue with the text "SpyWare Infection" in the middle of the screen
    i wasnt able to change the background of my computer or do anything


    i downloaded MCafee virus proterction and anti spyware tool
    and i deleted most of the viruses and spyware that got into my computer

    after that there is one file called ITSC or something like that and i cant delete it either manually or MCafee cant delete it either
    so is there anyone who can help me to clean out my computer off spyware??????? i really need help or i will loose all my programs and my other stuff :(:(:(;(;(
    any help is appriciated :rofl:

    hmm
    maybe try the program ad-aware
    or the program hitman pro
    maybe they can delete it

    try deleting it in safe mode, press F8 before the window splash comes on.

    the best bet is to delete it in safemode b/c if a virus scan can't delete it then you have to do it manually or find the removal tool for it at symantec, also back up all your files before continuing with anything if you want them in tact along w/ programs

    well thanks for the help
    i will try out the safe mode and some of the programs listed above
    i think i can delete it in safe mode because i know wherer the file is and i will try my best....
    will post here after i am at home :D
