Reputation Issues

Now I'm sure you guys (staff) get lots of PMs about reputations and whatnot, but I have on two separate occasions sent PMs to the Admin and several Mods, and on both times, HAVE HAD NO RESPONSE. I understand that my requests may not be justifiable, but you could at least tell me, instead of simply ignoring me. Just wanted to let you guys know.

 

Maybe Becuase you Have 44 +Rep?

 

I have 2 of those with either no reason or this reason: "For being retarded"

 

and when did you send these PMs, which staff members did you contact?

 

lol...I think someone cares about a perfect rep score a little too much. What would the forum be like without the REP system?

 

Llamaman, 4nubis, Bona Fide (that was the first time), and the second time, I just went to Llamaman. I sent a PM to Llamaman two days ago, and he has since been online and not responded whatsoever. The first instance was a few months ago.

 

I only PM'ed admins about my -rep when I had more than 6 and they were truley undeserved. I don't care how many -reps I have, as long as I still help the community.

 

Well, the way I look at it, it's not an issue of whether or not I or anyone else is being a little "paranoid", it's an issue of whether or not the Admins and/or Mods actually care about the members and their issues. I personally would rather have the person I PM about this respond back with "GET A LIFE", then nothing at all.

 

When I had a problem with them on my old account I would always PM Big_Dave, since only Admins can do it, and he seemed to do it a tad quicker than Llamaman...

 

If you want us to treat you like a baby, Atrampoline...we gladly will. 40,000 + members, and quite a few contact us regarding reputation. If you can't read the rules regarding who to contact to have reputation removed, then don't complain when we don't respond. If you contacted Dave, you might get a response faster...and if you PMed Joe 2 days ago, it may have been lost in his inbox when the site went through some vast problems.

No he was just gonna take a break because of all the accusations, and in response to the orginal problem, do you have any idea how hard it is to run a site with 45,000+ members? and you just said I would've rather gotten a response saying "get a life" well if you had gotten one like that you would've still been complaining. Also rep is utter bull----, just think of the site without it, don't get all whiney "blahblah blah I have -rep WHY??!!??!?"

i am sorry dude but look at my rep i use to have -5 at 1 point because of 1 thing i made a major apology it was closed then deleted. so i pm Llamaman and it was worked out. so give it sum time llamaman is a busy guy

 

Well as long as you have PM'd the correct people, Admins, these will be looked at in due time. Alot has happend around here lately and -reps are the least of the issues. Once they check through the 100's of PM's they will get to yours and take care of them if they feel they were unjust.
