he didn't steal, but he did manipulate. It was a joijnt project they were working on and then he took it changed a few thigns and marketted it on his own. it sucked. Then for his First OS, DOS, he bought another company's OS(which was somwhat unstable) switched a few things and made a deal with IBM. Then he built windows ontop of DOS as just a visual shell to make using ti easier and he manatained all the instability of old DOS and that's why windows sucked. Then for NT, he built the "new technology" off of software form the late 70s and had to demoralize it's capabilities by integrating win9x code into it for backwards compatability. again, they should just scrap windows, build on top of unix and try to make a few emulation programs for it so you can run old windows applications. They can call it windows NS for windows not-shidy
