basically my friend sent this message saying "i use block checker...bla bla bla download here"
so i did, now it turns out it was a virus, ive had it for a while now and it sends messages to all your contacts telling them to download it.

so anyway i un-installed it, still sends the messages.

up till now every time i turn the laptop on i do ctr+alt+delete and end process blockchecker.exe this works but is there a way to permenantly end it??

any1 got same or simular thing?

Run hijackthis to get the directory the file is in.

    Fix the blockchecker.exe with hijackthis.

Restart in safe mode, go to the file's directory and delete the exe, if it's in it's own folder just delete that too.

You can also run a couple anti-viruses and anti-spyware progs.

Type msconfig in the run box.
    goto startup tab
    Remove block checker
restart and then uninstall program and then go and delete the folder.
