my friend who plays guitar and i might start a little thing once i get it nothing serious just do it for fun
i would say get a guitar instead, in my opinion they are more fun to play, cause i know bass, guitar, and drums, and guitar is my favorite
but every1 has a guitar i dont know ne1 who has a bass and btw i was watching sumthing on tv and i hit refresh and he posted sorry for posting so fast
I agree, if you can play guitar, you can basically play bass. I'm not bragging, but i have a kickass 120 watt guitar amp. lol
Ok dude i have a bass and you need a HUGE amp like 100watts because u want something that will kick i have a peavy amp and it rocks hard Oh yeah and a good guitar too ofcourse
Personally i play electric guitar and that is really fun to play especially playing some cool solo's, my friend has been playing bass for about 5-6 yrs and he is VERY good at it, but he says that it can be boring to play at some times as it doesn't involve nice solo's etc (he also plays electric too so he's ok ^^) so i think it depends on what you like.
Heh well im the first one to tell you a brand ya i got a bass its a gibson but i recomend when your first starting out get an epiphone its a lower brand of gibson and is pretty good for starters thats what i had. i am in a band now and also play in my schools jazz band its cool to play once you get good i personally play a lot of punk rock its really fun and fast jazz is cool to cuz you get to do tapping and youll learn about that if you start getting lessons good luck
well for playing metal:bc rich warlock bass or warwick rock punk or jazz:warwick or fender buy any of those dont buy a cheap starter pack buy a amp a bass and peadels but do buy them togather if u buy a pack u will get a cheap pickups that sux u will also get a cheap bass...a suckey amp and some other ---- they put into these packs i paly metal of guitar and bass so buy a bc rich warlock for people that play guitar buy for mteal:bc rich warlock,dean ml,gibson les paul
