Tut: View .psd As Thumbnails In Windows Explorer!

For a while now, ive been wondering what happened too all my PSD not showing up as thumbnails. Well, ive learnt that in Photoshop CS2, they have removed this feature. Only available on the older PS.

Anyway theres a little trick to fix it, so u can view PSD thumbnails in Windows Explorer.
-it requires a .DLL download
-regedit.

After some googling, I found that you need a reg file and a dll file to make this work. Don't worry I've included everything you need in the following RAR file - make sure to read it's Readme.txt.

Basically, just place the .dll file in the folder specified and double click the ADOBE.REG file. And your done!

Well Bridge takes just as much time to start as PS and explorer doesn't so I guess I'll try this unless there's something useful in bridge I should know about.

Thats the whole point, thumbnails are previews. so u can have a preview in ur windows xp without opening it in PS.

Thats for the +REP.

Anyway, the whole point of this is to have a preview of ur psd files as a thumbnail (like ur JPEGS) etc in the folder WITHOUT opening it up in PS. Very good and simple to do!

 

I see thumbnails standard...no Bridge or extra DLL files.... I just click that little drop down menu that lets you choose between List, Icons, Thumbnails, Etc.
