Virus Problem?

    well i was workin on my comp today and radomly withotu me doing it my mouse started moving back and forth accross my screen, and sometimes it will just drag itself to a corner really fast and i have control back, do any of you know what virus or program that is donig this and how for me to get it off of my system?

    Unplug your mouse then plug it back in. Works for me.

    are you using an optical mouse
    and on what ground?

    i am using an optical mouse, but not wireless, and i am using it wood desk, no mousepad

    Get a new mouse run spyware stuff and then like you can put in NEW BATTERIES for your mouse... If it is wireless

    its simple clean the desk unplug it clean the leans . just clean it

    My mouse has also done that before do not worry it is not a virus or spyware, just do as said abpve.

    Ya i always pull the mouse and plug it back in :)

    My mouse did the same thing, but I think it ended up just being something caught in the trackball, duh.

    There is a virus / trojan that can make your mouse move, i've used it before.

    Most av's detect it, so whilst its most probably just your mouse (mine drifts a bit) can't hurt to have a virus scan.

    you need a mouse pad to make it run smooth
