"print Spooler"

I accidentally deleted "Print Spooler" from my registry. I tryed to restore my computer to a previous date, and it didn't work. So, now i can't print. I also never backed up my registry. So, can anyone help!?

Repair on Win XP disk, thatll get it back.

 

He's right. If you still have you win xp disk. Throw it in and choose repair when, when it prompts you.

I put the CD in there, and then a Windows XP thing came up, it had nothing to with repairs though.

Then i booted the computer, with the CD inside, and then i choose "repair". Then it asked for me to type something in, in something like "F:/WINDOWS/__".

So, i'm not really sure what to do.

 

bypass the first repair, like you are installing a new XP instance, then it will ask you again.. do it the second time not the first time.. I'll add more once i get home and can test it at home and see what exactly it is, Its been a while since ive done it...

 

It never asked me the second time.

 

Hey it looks like it wants you to type in where your windows directory is.

So...how would i get printing again?
