Question On Windows

well i had xp home on my pc when i first got it but it didnt come with a windows disk so i asked my friend to borrow his xp pro disk so i crashed my computer with that and it erased my system recovery, so now i downloaded xp home and still have my vaild cd key for it, how do i make it so i can burn the downloaded xp onto a disk and boot up with it to crash my computer?
(i downloaded 2 dif xp home thing's in one zip and one in iso)

Well the zip file if a compressed archive, you have to extract it, there will most likely be and image file in there. The .iso file is an image file, you can burn that with Nero, Alcohol 120%, and many other cd burning utilities.

 

Don't burn an ISO, use Daemon Tools, to mount the ISO and not waste a DVD

 

Your real smart aren't you. Mount an image file so you can boot from it....

 

Okay well you HAVE to burn the ISO file to make it a bootable disk. Burn the ISO file using Nero or Roxio or something. If you extract it and burn the files you will not be able to boot from it.

 

Extract the zip file.

Get this www.magiciso.com and burn the image to disk.

Shut down ur pc and start up again and insert the disk instantly.

Follow the instructions that appear

 

if ur pc crashes, the hidden petition with windows on it stays intact right ? or..

 

yes it is different parts of ur drive. now if you format your drive then it will be gone I think unless you format it a certain way.

 

thanx guys i repped everyone who replied, but i tried that magic iso it would workgreat but the trial version cannott burn files over 300mb
