Best Pc Under 1k

    I am deciding to get a new pc within the next month of two. I have been looking around @ Dell, Compaq, HP and others. I was thinking of building my own pc but I have no clue how so buying one that is made sounds the best.
    The specs that I am looking for are:
    around 3 Ghz
    Probably a P4
    1 Gb of RAM
    more than 100 GB HD
    128 MB Gfx card

    Anyone get a good pc recently in the 1k range??

    making ur own is prob the best bet you could do it for around that price range to but then there are fees for getting it put together if u cant do it urself. The biggest price is prob that 3.0 ghz

    ^That computer is horrible, poor cpu and gfx card.

    Get this it will suit you good -

    amd 64 3200+
    MSI Neo4 Platinum
    1GB (2x512MB) corsair dual channel ram
    Sapphire x800GT or GTO
    WD "JD" 120gb HD.
