Well there is a sale on this week at Staples Business Depot and they have a BFG Tech GeForce™ FX 5700LE Overclocked graphics card for $99.95 reg $219.95. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is a good card or not. Seems like a good deal to me, but then again anything would be an upgrade from the built in intel graphics that came with this machine. :P

Anyone have past experience with ths card? Was it good? Bad? What?!

It looks like an older card just from the number but then again yes it would be an upgrade from onboard graphics card and BFG is a very good company.

its a pretty poor card, dont purchase it. Good brand but poor card. Also what do you have in your pc agp or pci-e. Do you have a branded pc like a dell?

It is a Compaq Presario S4000NX. Thats pretty much all I know about it, I am just now getting into the specs and upgrading of my system. I have been reading some reviews on it and It seems most people have bought it because it was on sale and been dissapointed. Also on sale right now are the MX4000, FC5500, and FX5200.

I guess it makes sense that you get what you pay for. But would you happen to have the names of any graphcs cards which are much better for around $100?

He is right, the current standards of GFX cards are not really any good, AGP is dieing and PCI-e is getting the upperhand. in 2-3 months the AGP should be alot cheaper then atm they are.

YOU CANNOT GET A GOOD GFX CARD!!

Your pc only supports pci cards which are very poor cards, save up and build a new computer.
