Help!

    right a few things, on msn i tried to download a skin, it didn't look good so i uninstalled, but some on it's features are still on my pc, i have tried uninstalling and re-installing, i have done a system restore, and now i have getting pop-ups yest my firewall is on at it's strongest,

    and is it just me or on the site there are now alot of words in green :S

    than basically u got some spyware and ur fvcked....do a system recovery

    done a system recovery and i have also already got anit spyware/virus software and it detects nothing, i can't uninstall msn, this msn futuristic thing comes up, how can i remove that now?

    control panel - add and remove programs, unstall it.

    that's the thing for some reason it won't let me, i have tried everything!

    go to program files find the msn folder and press delete.. then reistall, see if it helps

    when i do that it says access denied and i can't do that either :(

    Remove it manually. Search for the folder, go into it and and delete each file(you can highlight and delete several at a time) it should work.
    Also, run Microsoft AntiSpyware, Antivirus, and another anti spyware program simulatneously to detect anything.

    When you go into the folder. Try to get the folders that don't have access denied error message first and then delete the files that would give you that message.

    I had one program that would not let me uninstall it through the Control Panel. So I had to launch the install exe of the program and it had options >install>repair and Remove!

    Is that possible?

    Also, make sure that file isn't starting up with windows bootup..that coudl be why it's not letting you delete it if it's in use.

    Registry removal is always an option also.

    none of that worked so i put it back to it's factory settings and it's ok now, now i have to figure out how to get my anti virus software back without the disc ^o)
