IPB, it has wonderfull and a great ammount of mods/skins. Also it has great support rather than vBulletin which only has support if you buy it. I mean im sure there are people that want to know about it before they buy it. Also IPB is easy to use and customize to your liking. IPB is also the most secure of the 3 which just makes it that much better.
Ive used all three I have always been one for IPB, and still am As everybody has said it has a lot better layout, better mods, More secure...yet obviously there are some bugs in every single release of every forum system, it just depends what system your getting your opinions from. IPB 2.1.1 has 0 expliots at the moment...
i just tried out ipb last nite and itz pretty kewl.....more options and alot of mods that u need to install for phpbb are already inside the files......little more confusing 2 but im hopin its kewl......i'll give it a shot tho.....that means every1 in my phpbb forum getz deleted which kinda sux :censored:
you can use a script to transfer your database from phpbb2 to ipb so you wont lose anything. Also its the other way around with mods. Phpbb2 has less features and ipb has more that you dont need to mod in such as quick reply.
if i were to run a forum, it would definitly be phpBB ive worked with with phpbb more than i have with ifb, although i would go with ifb cuz its better than phpBB phpBB is free, thats why i like it ifb is the best of all 3, but it costs $ vb jsut plain sucks, i hate their layout
vbullition is alot better better admin control and i think it looks better. IBP is next on my list i just hate phpbb its terrible
