I discovered that my computer has only pci slots in the motherboard. As I do not want to go get a new motherboard, what is the best video card you can reccomend me? (try to stay less than $200)
video cards under $200 is hard to pick. well for me. if your willing to spend another 40 dollars get the radeon 9800pro. or the nvidia gforce 6600gt
I had the same problem as you man. I ended up choosing the Radeon 9250 and it works great, no problems yet.
try reading his post before recomending hardware. the PNY VCGFX55PPB Geforce FX5500 128MB 128-bit DDR PCI wouldn't be a bad choice, either that or the POWERCOLOR R92P-LD3 Radeon 9250 256MB 128-bit DDR which can both be found for around 100$
There are just a few PCI graphic cards left here you have a small list of the cards that im sure that are PCI Have a look here
u can only get that for agp and pci-e [/b][/quote] Yep those are PCI-express cards coz i got the 6600GT I probably think its a normal PCI slot if it is ill say wait until u get $$$ and get a new mobo
Yes, it's a normal PCI slot... and i don't want to get a new motherboard when it is still not obsolete... maybe in a few years/months.
u dont have to wait that long to get a new motherboard , get a cheap intel motherboard with an agp slot , very cheap like mine
