Which kind of laptop would all of you recommend? Like Brand and kind. Also if you could post a few examples, something 1200 Dollars or less. Thanks!
I'd by a notebook from walmart.. hehe youk now the one you write with.. .anyways lol go to alienware.com and check there laptops out.. there amazin!
Alienware I think goes over his budget.. I'd try Dell's XPS notebooks.. look on newegg and/or tigerdirect look at HP, maybe Sony... I dunno... what exactly do you need it for?
Dell.com has the XPS M140 which starts at $999 and you can customize that in a few ways and still have it at around $1200
alienware , ive configured a laptop for you , only $1,120.00 as low as $40/mo.* with 512 ram , printer , everything is great , to bad there isnt a list that shows all the pieces ive chosen
Get something with a good proc like a pentium M or a Turion 64, then swap the ram out and you should have agood setup. This is assuming you aren't going to game, but laptops aren't really all too great for gaming anyway. if you want something brandname, try fujitsu I hear they are good. you can't beat my friends laptop, he bought it for $1300 a year and a half ago, it has a gig of dual channel ram, a 3.2GHZ P4, a 256mb ATi mobility card(not sure which) it plays HL2 fairly well. he got it wholesale though and had to pull in a few favors. If you wanted the same thing today expect like $2300 or more, for a year and a half ago... a ton more.
For a laptop at that price it looks pretty good. Read the customer reviews to find out some of the pros and cons of that model. I, myself, have an HP and it's a very good computer. The specs on that look pretty good from what I can see.
