OK, so I was working on a signature using a gif as a basis. I finished it up and it looked pretty good. After it was complete i wanted to change the gif, make it a longer video, so i did just that. here's the problem:

When I try to save the new file (optimized gif) the colours become messed up. All my layers of different colours and opacities get mashed together at full opacity and look dull and pixelated. The gif is fine, but the border around it looks terrible.

    Anything I'm doing wrong ?

P.S. Its a large file, over a mb

i suggest you try fooling around with alot of the settings, if you must, pick the colors of your border to be displayed, not the automatic thing

the thing is that .gif's only support up to 256 colors :\

    Show us a desktop screenshot.

Could be your border settings...could be just gif settings...could be that IR wasn't fully installed..who knows..

So yeah, show us a screenshot of the problemo.
