I can't put together a computer so thats not gonna work and i have about a thousand dollars to spend, whats the best computer to get without building my own. I want it mainly for school/ps/c4d/cool3d and other graphic programs so it needs to be able to run those pretty well. Oh and i'm looking for a desktop btw. thanks for the help, if any of you guys actualy help me find my computer i'll def hook you up in some way.
go to your local store and ask for at least these minimum requerments: - AMD CPU 3500+ - 1 GB DDR RAM - PCI-E GFX card (if you game I should say the 6600GT) - HDD 200GB minimum and ask them what they offer you. for you money
I just have one tip do not get Dell and look at HP or Sony. Also check your local stores like they said ^^^^.
If you are getting preset, dell is satin, HP is god. Sony is co-god. Just be sure to get loads of ram and a big processor..
wow, im surprised..... Dell's work great for the money, i have a four year old one that is amazing that only cost about 600.
With a 1k, you can buy a great computer. If you get Best Buy's weekly ad, they've been advertising a few good ones. I saw one with: 1 GB DDR RAM 250 GB Hard Drive 56X Dual Layer DVD/CD RW 17 inch Flat Panel Raedeon 9700 3800 AMD Athlon 64X That was for $990.
you should get a pci-e mobo and vga. That gives you more upgraiding options. x800 pci-e cards are pretty cheap. you should get yourself one of those.
Finding an actually good computer for 1000$ might be hard unless your willing to put the computer together yourself. (buy parts) Otherwise, if you want a good computer, you may need to pay $1500+
no... you dont. maby for a nice gaming computer. Nice Alienware + A Wide Screen "20 Monitor= 1450. So, thats a damn nice gaming comp, plus an expensive monitor. So yes, buy a Home Computer, not that gaming crap.
if you buy expect this for 1k: AMD 3700+ 1gig dual channel ram 250gig SATA hardrive crapy or midend PSU crapy motherboard with few upgrade options DVD/CD combo writer few pointless ports on the sides and back noone ever uses 6600 128mb Windows XP media center edition or home if you build expect something more like this: 4000+ 1gig dual channel 2*120gig SATA hardrives in RAID0(twice as fast) decent motherboard 6800 128mb Good PSU DVD/CD writer w/ good specs Windows XP 64 Pro really, it is worth the time to learn how to build, I had like no exerience and built the computer I am writing this off of on just common sense and reading the instructions booklet on my motherboard carefully.
