    ok i need to find out what my motherboard is , but i cant open up my pc , is there a other way to find out?

    if you use windows, rightclick on 'my computer' go to properties -> hardware -> device manger

    select the tab system devices and there it should say something about your mainboard type, agp slots pci slots etc. etc :)

    does it somewhere says something like:

    CPU to AGP contoller or CPU to PCI brigde :)

    As far as I can read it you have 3 PCI slots and no AGP slot

    so does that mean that the XFX GeForce 6800LE 128MB DDR TV DVI video card wont physicly fit in my pc?


    also wat u said just cant be right...cuz i currently have geforce fx 5200 wich needs an agp slot...

    no, it wont fit. Consult a IT tech person. He can open your comp to have a look, from my point of view. No you cant you can only have PCI gfx cards, the card you selected is AGP and is not suitable for your PC

    That means you DO have a AGP contoller but consult somebody, open your comp (if you simply open it you cant do anything wrong. look into your PC and look if you have a AGP slot,

    the white slots are PCI, the brown 1 is AGP (with penitum the AGP slot is green (I thought)

    goldman:- ive tried to open it before and i just cant , dunno ive tried to open it after unscrewing all the screws and it doesnt work , the device manager cant be wrong right?

    unlikly that the device manger is wrong lol, but if you cant open your PC how you plan to build in the GFX card lol

    device manager cant be wrong , and eventually ill open it....i just hope i dont have to break this scum bag :D
