Inside And Outside Of Photoshop

My Photoshop has a problem with the brightness of colors. Anything I open in PS 7.0 appear darker then it should be. This becomes a problem when I am trying to create anything because everything is the way I want it to be in Photoshop but when I save it into a .png, .gif, .jpeg etc etc, it appears to be lighter in color.

Try making anew color profile...

i've heard people complain but never had anything to say. you should find a way to get cs or cs2, maybe having an updated version of ps will help solve the problem.

 

Probably not... Chances are, his PS contrast settings are too high, If you can reset those...

You don't. Do you have adobe gamma?

 

nah. i use to have adobe gamma but I forget what I did with it. I could easily get it back... what do I do with it?

 

Install it and open it. Make a new color profile using it...

 

I used to have this problem, make sure your photoshop and monitor color profiles are the same. and make the sure color profile your saving as is the same as your monitor profile

 

in save for web there is a button that lets u save as the documents colour profile. select that one.

Either change the color settings or just reset photoshop.
