true i do agree with you.. but i hate what President Bush is doing .. * no offence * alot of people likes them i dont know why but its not me so i cant make that decision.. He made some foolish decisions.. but lets not go to this topic =]..
Your defintion of patriotism sucks man... What patriotism is: supporting and believing in the country you are born in. Correct me if Im wrong but: ...Im a half-Democrat half-Marxist, personally I dont like the system we live in, but I believe in my country, I believe what it was based upon, but Im disgusted with the government for a number of reasons I won't go into. So really, how can they be a Democrat if they dont believe in their country?

i believe in the same way .. i am disgusted about the government.. i also trust the country.. and i believe 50% war is right and 50% that its wrong.. i just hate President Bush --; Even though i have Karry to.. his alot better than bush..
it sucked...was not worth money at all....NO action at all.. Its a war movie, one person gets shot during training. THe whole movie seemed like it was leading up to something, but that something never happend.....jeez, $10 to buy a ticket to a crappy movie

Common man, there is a difference between patriotism and the party you support. If your patriotic that doesnt mean your republican... And no ---- that everyone to meet thats anti-american is democrat... to be anti-american means to disagree with the government in power, and since democrats arent in power... hmmmmm... And hell, Im anti-american, but i support Nader and the Independance, Imno democrat. Im canadian, Im an enviromentalist, but I dont support the Green Party, I support the Liberals.. There is a difference between coincidence and steriotyping.
SS your party doesn't affect if your "patriotic" in any ways and probably half the people you asked don't know what pbeing patriotic is
also, the point of jarhead is to show there the soldiers are not actully seeing action. How most of the time, modernly, that war is all of button pushing, and yelling at eachother... So when you say there wasnt enough action, maybe read up on it, the meant to do that, they made the movie realistic. Oh realism, something the world lacks presently...
As a fellow canadian...I despise you. Supporting the liberals is probably the worst thing you could do for this country.
I agree 100%. I, personally, don't understand why so many people think that just because a movie lacks action, it's a terrible movie. Unless you're in the military, I don't see how you can say that all war is is just blowing ---- up. This movie is realistic, and therefore good to me, because there are troops (in any war you want to look at) that see very little action. There's an actual story outside of the violence and I think it's portrayed very well. This was definitely worth spending the money to go see.

Well here, Green Party - Wouldnt trust 'em with my country, seriously... Conservatives - Never liked their views, and Steven Harpen scares the ---- outta me... He wants to be like America too much... NDP - When they were in control of Provincial Power a while back, the did more damage to my family finacially than the Liberals federally. Bloc Quebecois - I really like their views, and secretly support 'em, but I once said this in my class, and was called a seperatist for weeks, and Im not even french-canadian. Liberals - They may have facked me over a few times, but I'd rather them in charge than anyone else...
