Windows Xp Activation Code

    I bought a couple of years this PC with Windows installed on it. A couple of months I formatted my PC bcz of virusses and then I found out I lost the installation CD. Is it possible someone else can use the key now?

    Well yes they can use your key freely if they have it and your CD.

    if u have the CD key its best to call up Microsoft and tell them what happened. They'll close that CD key and maybe even give u a replacement. Atleast thats what hey did to me after a whole investigation
