Im getting a new PC probably next month, and i want you guys to tell me the best software for it, im not bothered about the price. i want the best anti-virus and anti-spyware software. i also want the best firewall or anything that can protect my PC (my current is a lil messed) and i want loads of cool software to keep my PC safe. i would like to know the best IP spoofer too and stuff that you can personalise windows with. thanks guys, i will give you something special if you name me loads of programs.

McAfee seems the most popular, not just in my opinion but by what i've heard from loads of other people :)

Use these they're the best you can get i promise:

    McAfee Virus Scan
    Adware SE Personal
    Ccleaner (crap cleaner..very good)

You won't need anything else really..

norton internet security 2005 (anti virus, firewall, utilities), ad-aware (anti spyware software) and use Mozilla Firefox.

also for customisation look for the pinned topic in the Computing section on GUI skinning. the best way is to use vs styles that dont need external programs. but if ur lazzee get windows blinds and d/l the alienware skins cos they rox!

I don't know but the padded walls are nice.
You can just download Microsoft AntiSpyware from www.microsoft.com. It's no cost, just search microsoft.com.

nod 32 antivirus "The gamers antivirus" The only virus protection system that can catch viruses out of its coding, it updates on its own almost once-ten times a day.

    Sygate pro firewall
Protects against any outer objects and port scans automatically informs you if anything is going on.. Stops things automatically and waits for your permsision

Neither of these are known as the popular but both were rated the best by techtv and many program reviewers. Nod32 is free for a year unless you want pro then you have to purchase it or crack it..

Sygate is freeware but if you want pro its money after 30 days.
