You can change the colors to anything, you can use hex codes. i posted the thread on how to become a unaficial beta tester but the mods deleted it

As for the guy posting about microsoft calling it live.
Even though it's on their website. It still installs in the /messenger folder. And it uses the name msg 8, not msg 8 live.
Pretty much it was just microsoft being retarted. :]

I have had so many damn problems with 7.5, I could not even sign in with my .net passport. So I went back to 7.0. Hopefully 8 will be a big improvement, the orange loooks nice. I feel sorry for the guy who does not know how to take screen captures on his computer! HAHA!

You can change the colors to ANYTHING you want. And you can change the background image etc.
