This is the kind I have, luckily I got it back when it was on sale: http://wacomdirect.wacom.com/wacomdirect/p...=33&sku=CTE640B It pretty much has all of these features, except its 6x8 rather than 4x5: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1122655672173 The pen is pressure sensitive, which is a must have for most graphic tablet work. I mainly use mine for inking CG (drawings), and also coloring them. Wacom is the way to go when it comes to quality.
when i was younger I was pretty good. but I stopped and I haven't really drawn for a couple of years now. so i'm looking at getting back into it
not all tablets show graphic directly on the tablet those are top end models i have a wacom 4x6 and it works just fine just takes a lil getting used to but like another post said if ur just doin things like sigs theres no need for one but scratch art it's a major plus and as far as the sigs like i said i have a tablet but when i make a normal sig i tend to use the mouse or when using the pen tool i still use it
tablets are awsome for vectors and splatters im gonna get on so i can do some vectafitti and other stuff
Mine is really hard to get used to, it looks like a 2 year old scribbling all over the place. I'm still using my mouse > everything else. I mostly got it to experiment with 40 bux, can't really go wrong.
If they dont have at least some that show up on the tablet instead of just the screen then that'd be retarded. Those cheap ones are really hard to use. because they dont appear on it, you don't know where you are. Yeah. And i agree with you Nica in part. Not all the people who want them use dled brushes though, and the people who do don't want one so they can stamp them on a sig -.- Whoever does that is the dumbest person ever.
That's why they come with a cordless mouse, so you can position the pointer where you want the pen to start. It's a 2-handed tool.
actually downloaded brushes would work great with a tablet, considering they are pressure sensitive, and so is the brush tool....

i'm surprised you got a good one for that cheap. well is it any good? wacoms usually go for at least 150. i want one for christmas
