I'm going to speak for alot of the arm forces when I say this. But they agreed to fight for their country. They knew what it ment when they agreed to join.

Honestly I don't believe it's for oil. After seeing the 9/11 attacks it would be pretty pathetic for our goverment to just stand by and wait for something else to happen. So this is what they chose to do. I have good faith in some of our goverment, well in most of it that is.
And if your so worried about people dieing in iraq, maybe you should start worrying about the millions of babys that are aborted a year.
Bush is not the only one making decisions, it's also the people around him. I find it hard to believe that bush woke up one day and said, ok lets go kill us some iraqs. -_-
