I saw a add with a graphic tablet for 40 bux, so I was like kewl I gotta get one of these. :)
It's a 12x9 tablet, with cordless mouse and pen.
But when I hooked it up and got it working. I keep wondering, if maybe this isn't a try graphic pad?
Because it is just a flat thing, and when you write on it, it only shows up on screen not on the actual pad? Are real pads supposed to show up on the pad also? Like at meijer when you fill out the credit card thing?

    Just wondering, thanks :)

If you use DLed brushes, buyign a tablet would be your biggest WASTE EVER.

Tablets are to go into detail, and paint things yourself and have control over your designs..

If you take other peoples renders, have no creativity, use DLed brushes, or simply do lame photomanips... A tablet is not for you

Just to let you know, right now you might be like "ZOMGZ I WANTS A TABLET" .. but its nto for stamping someone elses brushes

GL With your Tablet BTW , and yes thats how you use it..

Do you have one? I was getting mine so that I can do my illustration straight to the computer. Instead of on notebook.
What I'm wondering is does the screen on yours light up? And show where you draw at?
And why would you use dl brushes in the first place

12x9 Tablet for $40? You must've gotten the cheap brand.... I paid $110 for my 8x6 Grapphire III last summer.... And most tablets (that people can afford) don't have an on-screen representation, it's all about coordinating yourself with the pad and your monitor. They're difficult to use at first, but I've picked mine up pretty well.

That's the thing I didn't want to spend alot for my first one, so I saw this and I was like cool. I gotta try it out :)
Ir works really nicely, It's got tabs at the top for different operations, and it's really big which is nice.
What would be the difference between a 110, and a 40 dollar pad?

uhm i guess the difference would be more in terms of how sensitive the pad is and how well it handels things i mean i think maynards pad is alot more sensitive to pressure and stuff as to urs which is a basic pad for common use

well im not sure but thats my two cents

uhm ow well i dont really know much of graphic tablets anyway...

maybe u could ask maynards about his pad u now the features and stuff like that and then compare it to urs maybe that will give u a better view on things
