I formatted my hard Drive then I re-downloaded the Windows XP Sp2 pack, now I have the little Red Windows Security icon stuck on the bottom of the desktop. How can I get rid of it? Im offering credits.

That might mean many different things hover over it with your mouse and tell us what it says.

I go over it it says Window Security Alerts, and when I right click it says Open Security and Go to Microsoft Website.

Does it look like a red shield - I think 1 reason is that you dont have a antivirus installed thats one - 2 you aint got a firewall on :D

Double click it and see what happens not just right click
