I am currently playing Halo 1 for pc. I have been playing it for about a year lol. When I go into a room sometimes the Hud and vehciles dont show up. People don't appear, I dont appear. The only thing that does show up is terrain and my Aim site lol. Anyone know the problem is?
yer...i had dat problem wen i first started playin....sometyms it corrects itslef...other times u gotta change ur graphics card setup....remind me agen, does da game run on some sort of open GL driver? coz if it does i could probably tell u wat to do.. ^_^ .
No I havent changed anything in the settings. What is GL driver lol. And I just re installed it but same problem
It could possibly be your internet connection... Who is your ISP? What is your internet speed? what are your CPU specs? It would be a lot easier for me to help you if you answer those questions clearly.
Lag? I haven't played halo for pc and i'm guessing someone hosts a game and you join their room right? And if it only happens sometimes it could be that the person hosting the game is running on a slow internet connection. That wouldn't make sense for an error to load the other stuff but not make the hud/people display, unless it was lag.
My guess is because it is an older version it won't work. I've had this problem with some games such as Warcraft I and II and Quake II.

I used to have that problem, but I got a new computer. My specs are worse than yours, but it runs fine for me. If it is a legal copy, you should talk to bungie about it. Sometimes they will send you a new one for free. My friend installed a crack on his disk and had that problem sometimes, but I'm assuming you are completely legal.
