Firefox Help!

hey, when i tried to open Mozilla Firefox, it asked me what profile to use. I said default but it wouldnt let me. So i created my own just so i could get on but i lost all my bookmarks and stuff. How do i get back to default??

you had to ctrl+alt+del and close Firefox. You should be able to restart your comp, and it should reset to the default...

 

Go to the profiles folder which is located in The firefox folder then find the biggest bookmarks document that's the oldest, cut it and paste it so it overwrites the newer smaller bookmark document..Done. If you don't understand talk to me over MSN or somerthing i'll show you step by step

 

i cant find the profiles folder.


i went C:>Program Files>Mozilla firefox> no profile folder

 

it's at:

C:\Documents and Settings\(user)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

you need hidden files disabled...

 

thanks but it didnt really work... its alright though i just redid my bookmarks.

lol i thought i had a lot more stuff than i actually did. I thought it would take forever to put up all the bookmarks back and stuff.. but its not that much i've now realized

 

Go ctrl+alt+delete Close firefox.exe in the processes page and reopen firefox and it will work.

 

there a way to switch profiles? it only allows me to stay on one, and every month or so it kicks me and i have to switch to a new one..

 

I just gave the damn answer.. go to your profiles folder and delete the profile with the smallest bookmark document.
