My PS is messed up, after it messing up before i uninstalled it, and just set it up. but when i go to filters, some of them are blanked out and i cant use them. i just have a white 400x150px canvas, but it wond let me go on certain stuff like render, or artistic. any ideas why this may be?
Yes you can't just make a document then fill the background and go to filter..You need a new layer for the filters to be available.
i have tried that. i cant even use filter>render>clouds. that used to work on the Background Layer. i can use some like blur and sharpen and stuff.
Bump Up My Post i cannot make any sigs now, i really would like some help. these are the only filters i can use (i have done some brushing) blur noise sharpen stylize other i cant even use some of my downloaded filters.
When you open ps and go new file, make sure its : xxx pixels xxx pixels 72 bit resolution 8 bit whatever I had same problem...
Basically what he is saying is he can't use his filters so fix the rgb resolution as Otaku posted when you start your new document and you should be fine
