Hey, i havent been playing many games on my computer, but lately i felt the urge to play some Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind.

I was wondering if there is any [free] way to make it run a little bit faster? is there any thing i can change on my computer so it thinks i have more ram than i do or something?

i know there may be nothing to do, but i figured i would ask you computer genius people over here.

Please reply with any hints you might have.

    Dan

Even if you could do that, it would be a bad idea, it would just make the PC use more RAM than you have and you'd overheat :) Check google for a RAM freer, or check majorgeeks.com, there are a few there, not sure how well they work though...

i'd just close anything that you have open that you dont need when you playing that usually helps me

Scan through there, there may be something that will help you, hope something does ^_^ I've never actually tested any of those, but I've downlaoded tons of stuff from that site and I recommend it to everyone, it was on G4 at one time...anyway, something should help you :)

yeah man, right after you posted i went to the gaming section and got a game accellerator, and it seems to speed things up about 20-25% which is a very nice difference for me.

Thanks a ton, and i'll give ya your first rep on your new account buddy.

The easiest way would be to turn down all the settings. You should also find optimization software that deletes useless files, cleans up reg, etc.
