Yeah, my friend sent me a huge folder of brushes and I extracted them all from the cpmpresed folder to the brushes folder (Crogram Files/Adobe/Photoshop CS/presets/brushes), and whenever I start up photoshop, I only get the default brushes, even though I checked the folder and the brushes I downloaded were there...help? -_-
You have to load the brushes for use within photoshop itself also. I'm used to right-clicking the canvas, clicking the arrow in the top right corner, and choosing from the list of brush packs.
