Cleaning My Computer Screen?

i dont have a glass screen i have a flat screen so it gets all durty easly and i used windex to clean it but i found a dead pixel so im guessing to not was any liquids? or is there a special liquid to clean it cuz now i just use a dry paper towel but it doesnt clean it that good so what should i used to clean my computer screen?

Dude never use Windex to clean LCD screens aw it jacks them up. It has amonia in it which isn't good for LCD screens which I think is what you said you have. If it is a CRT you can use windex and a cotton cloth will clean it very good. But LCD you need LCD cleaning wipes or special LCD spray and use a cotton cloth to clean it.

 

eh yea i didnt know well now on ill use a cotton cloth and look for some special spray or use that isopropyl alcohol

 

There are LCD cleaning cloths from like staples I bought a kit from there it was really nice.

 

for an LCD screen, i suggest small amounts of water and a cloth assuming it is only mildly dirty. again smoother cloths are best, I suggest on of the clothes used to cleean gameboys or the type used to clean glasses if you can't find an actual one for LCDs.
