well im having the same problem but i have 8.0!!! i'm trying to do what maynard said, but i cant find define brush tip shape!!! someone plz help, will +rep, thnx
to do it with 8 just select a brush if you have airusus's brushes he made a while back and click on the side panel like in audacious tut tells you all about it....at 100 % strength and i think you should've started a new thread but it's just me, take a look at his tut in the ps section under tutorials and it's a vid tut
apparently 7 can't scatter using the smudge tool but it will let you when using the brush tool, sorry for the double post...i don't know unless he uses the custom shapes to scatter in 7, only other way i can think of..give it a try if u can
