You may want to check for dealers near you, shipping from the US to other parts of the world can get very expensive. Where are you from and you might be able to get some suggestions on where to get products near you.
Staffordshire, England. If building is the best then there's a place i know who build PC's and i think they'd happily put it together. Just need to find a website what has as good prices as New Egg but in the UK.
Before buying a laptop, you must really consider whether or not you want to just do work on it or game. A standard laptop is fine for work, but if you want to game i'd go for a PC, they are a lot cheaper for the performance. But laptops are more portable and stuff. I recently bought a toshiba laptop, but I got a good deal on it. It works wonders for school work, but I just bought the game FEAR and it runs like garbage (512 mb ram, 1.50 ghz, and an ATI Radeon express 200m). I'm in college, so I don't have the dough to buy a computer, but its not bad and Fear runs good in low resolution settings, just the graphics aren't that great.
