    News Updates
Release Date has been announced! We will begin collecting information for our articles starting Nov 7th. Our first issue will be released the 13th/14th.

Bi-weekly issues. We have decided to make our newspaper a bi-weekly newspaper, meaning we will put out an issue every two weeks. After a discussion between the two editors, it was decided that would allow us enough time to not only enjoy the work we are doing, but to produce better articles and resources for the community.

We have some great resources in the works that will be associated with our newspaper, as you can see we have already had a few tutorials, and a psd pack released and that is just the beginning. Some things you can expect to see in the near future are:
    • Auctions of some PSD's from our various designers with all proceeds going to the designer and the newspaper.
    • PSD's with learning rights from some very talented designers.
    • More tutorials
As currently, here is the staff list:
    • Logicalyimpaired

    • zarox
    • crupo

Different articles ranging from GameRender topics such as Latest News, Interesting topics of the week, IRC channels, game servers, or newest game releases. We will also be helping prepare GR younger members when it comes to job applications, and homework(History, Science, Math, and Literature + coding classes such as vB, Java, and Web Design) and of course the all reverend PSD download section where you will find member submissions from all sort of levels of creators!

We're currently looking for the following:
No open positions at this time

Just give us the following information:

One credit price for life is all we could think of, and we apologize. If anyone has problems 'raising' this one credit, let a staff member know :)

    Thanks & no flaming please,

The more staff we have, the more information and articles and other useful items we plan to include, we can put in each issue of the newspaper. So, is 11 enough for a staff? Perhaps it is, but limiting it at 11, just limits the content we can offer to our viewers.

So, if you plan on being a viewer, do you want to be limited? I am thinking not.

So please by all means people, lets see them applications, so we can help this newspaper grow.

The GR Delivery website will be dedicated to spreading the news and word of GameRenders, with a page dedicated to member and staff(hopefully) tags ranging from splashes, affiliate buttons, sigs, and banners to help advertise the site. I'm even speaking to Llamaman about placing HIS google ads on the site, so that he can continue to help pay for GameRenders.

Alot of ideas are going to be put into this newspaper, and its going to be very fun, and alot of talented staff :)

an essay i did two years ago, haven't had much writing classes since

k, these are my own ideas, not merely a recycled view of an ancient philosopher

    "On Agnosticism"

An essay by Sean Owen Stott.

To understand agnosticism, you must first distinguish the difference between ignorance and unattainablility. Agnosticism is more than mere ignorance of religions and science. It is not a way to form an uneducated opinion about the uncertainties of the world by choosing to be ambiguous. Agnostics are not indecisive for the reason of being ambiguous. They are careful in their considerations, hoping to somehow encompass the truth. They may weigh reason over dogma, but they will not necessarily weigh reason over faith. Faith is important for everyone, even to people who do not know exactly where to divert theirs.

To first understand Agnosticism, you must understand religion. To choose to be indecisive by means of ignorance of the alternatives would prove to be most unwise.

To accept religion as a matter of fact just because you were born into it is a problem that most God-followers run into. Would a person end up Jewish if they weren’t born into a Jewish family? What about a Christian? Or a Buddhist? Did you first feel God, or did you first learn about Him? Which should come first? It is imperative to ask yourself these questions before accepting your faith. Otherwise, you are part of the flock. Do you ever sit in church and say obligatory prayers that you have no feeling about? If the objective God is dead to you, why do you continue to praise Him?

You must consider the possibility that God is dead. You must also consider the possibility that the concept of God may infinitely exceed what you could ever comprehend. If He is such a divine being, why is it our job to classify Him?

Believing in a god and a heaven as your ultimate destination is not the best choice for your own happiness and being. Doesn’t reassuring yourself that there is somewhere divine waiting for you after you die trivialize your existence? I was blessed with the gift of life. As a mere human, I have no capabilities of the knowledge of my maker, be him God, evolution, or possibly both. To whom do I owe my reverence? Surely, I’m sincerely appreciative, but where do I put my gratitude? It is a sin to belittle and devalue my existence by making it into a prequel to heaven, or my eternity.

For, I love my life! It is not owed or indebted to anything. I live it being the best person I can be. Follow the Golden Rule, show temperance, and feel your existence! Isn’t this all the derivative of religion anyway? No matter how you name gods, make rules about how we can live, it all has the same form. Leave God out of the morality. Humans can be moral without idolatries. I say leave God for ourselves.
