My brother saw it and said it was great movie. I really don't think that I'm going to see cause it has nothing to do with the game and I think they could at least have kept it that the people came from hell not some bioharzard chemical thing like a ton of other movies.
You guys are all ornary and anal-retentive. ZOMG, THE GFX SUCKZORS! NEVA SEE IT! It's art, and if you can't appreciate it, that's your problem. It does NOT look like it's from 1990, or else it would be people in costumes, Mr. Smart-ass in first page. The GFX look almost just like the game, except they put more work in the environment. Think about it: Could you do better? How? Could you afford to do better? If they did do the Hell thing, atheists would've been up their asses. If they didn't, game-freaks would. Blah blah blah, let's all complain about the bad stuff and totally ignore the good stuff. Dr. Carmack, Pinky Demon, Music, original characters (for the most part), some twists. In your critic eyes, the good stuff is totally chewed up by the bad stuff. If you are a true fan to Doom, then you will be able to overlook the flaws.
the reason why he cut himself was because he said jesus christ or something then he mumbled "i used the lords name in vein" or something like that and cut himself because hes really religous <--- im pretty sure thats what it was. i was confused for a minute or two in the theatre <_<
