If your on a network, ipconfig doesn't tell you your actual i.p, it tells you your network address

    e.g 192.168.1.67

EDIT: Will people stop posting the same thing / posting for no reason..

    START+R (start... run)
    cmd

    ipconfig

    enter

    start>run>type 'cmd'>enter>ipconfig>enter...

you can also see it by right clicking your connection under 'network connections' and go to properties...

then 2x click the internet protocol part...

IPCONFIG is one put you can put in Command ipconfig/all gives all details about your IP info

    OR

Go into Network Connections in control panel and just select the connection you using under detail on the bottom left you'll see the IP

    OR

You can double click the network connection you using - A box comes up then on the tab cclick support you'll see the IP on there alongisde gateway address etc - doesnt work u said so scrap ;)
