Hey yo, I have a quick question. When I bought my computer (Gateway 825GM) the guy who sold it to me at BestBuy answered this question for me, but now I forget the answer. Does this computer have a built-in Microphone? If so, how do I use it?
well if it does have a built in just go to controll panel then into your sound settings...And that was useless info considering his new comp from there with ONBOARD vid runs better than my comp that it satisticaly better than his....mine was more than his was to and its NOT from best buy
I would try like the above post said first. Usually if a PC has a built in Mic, it's in the monitor. From my experience anyways.
Mine has that too. That just means you have a jack input for a mic. They are usually a pink colored jack. I think on that model they are on the left rear back underneth the serial number.
Yessir. Usually if a PC has a "bulit in" mic. It's actually in the monitor. On the front, on top above the screen. I pulled up a schematic of your PC. And just found a mic jack. Radio Shack or Best Buy have some cheaper ones. If your gamer you might want to check a HeadSet / Mic. I use one and find I can hear footsteps better.
This computer im on now actually has a mic on the moniter, although i dont think it can be used. I believe you need to go buy a mic though, at least if you dont have one and you have the jack for it.
