what si a vector? it is when somebody edits a real image and turns it into a vector (a painty kind of look)
Vector work is work that's not raster, aka your image isn't defined by pixel content, but rather by mathematical formulas/equations that define curves and color content. With that said, a big difference is that filesize isn't dependent on picture size, so a 40x40 vectored square will occupy the same space on your hard drive as a 2000x2000 vector square, assuming that they're identical in everything but the dimensions. Also, since your picture is not based on pixels and therefore pixels technically don't exist on the picture, you retain the same image quality regardless of zoom level, i.e. a curve will look like a curve if you zoom in to 20384759487%, or at least in theory it will.
For the hell of it: ---------------------------- Name: Jonathan Age: 21 5 peices of workatleast 2 vectors): Experiencehow long you have been designing, etc): Eh, I started messing around with photoshop around the same time I started college, and that was in 2002, so I guess it's been a little over 3 years. I now own the whole Adobe CS package, the whole Macromedia MX package (which I haven't gotten around to messing with yet), and I have a bootleg copy of Lightwave 3D 7, a 3D modeling animation program.
I'll be posting a few things... working on a Hillary Duff vector.. ----in hard.... damn hair... just letting you know that i'm interested.
Im working on my vect0r skillz. Ive done only one, and it kinda sucks, cool idea for a crew though. Needs to make tutorials though. Maybe Ill get good enough someday...
Tuts are a maybe, I will talk over Comas application, nice work there man. Atreyu, I am still debating your application :|
2 crews is a lot? and the name of the crew i think is going to be vectorize or something...i dont remember what apoc told me [/b][/quote] isnt he only in de??wats the other one?
Comatosis's things own i love the sharks teeth, Atryu make 1 or 2 more vectors pm me them over msn or forum and you in we just wanna see if your into vectoring and if you enjoy them
