Windows Media Player

    Ok When i try and play .wmv files all the colours screw up and are a mess the weird colours of pink and orange and green i dont know what it is, any ideas?

    takes some pictures so I can understand what you are trying to say.

    I have fixed it, anyway when i try to take a ss it goes black where the video should be :huh:

    *Edit* you fixed it nwm.

    First, try all the steps in this Microsoft document on the pink and green Windows Media Video issue with ATI cards (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=843509#18). Other than that use DivX or another player. Hard to know with not knowing what version od WMP your using. If it's 9 upgrade to 10.

    That's easy to solve ;)

    Ever wonder why whenever you take a cap in windows media player it comes out black?

    1. Go to tools -> options
    2. Click on the performance tab then click advanced
    3. Untick the "use overlays" checkbox and there!

    Solved hope it helps other people :D
