Id go for the ipod mini, its cheap, and it hold plently of songs with 6gb of space.
The psp can play movies etc but you then have to buy them in the right format, which is a bit stupid if youve got the dvd at home.
And why would you want to watch videos on an ipod? The screen is as big as a flea.
Trust me, go for the mini, it will suit your purposes, and leave you cash to spare

Apple's getting sued over the Nano because it scratches so easily (from Slashdot). and for the people who saw why would you watch videos on the iPod becaues the screen is small- the screen size in 2.5 inches, which isn't too terribly small. overall, if you're into games and music, then go with the PSP, but if you just want music, I'd go with the iPod! ^_^
