i don't know what is wrong, the file size is 0 kb and it won't delete. It was a downloaded drivers for my ATI graphics card. What is wrong? Hopefully somebody can help me .
this means the application ur trying to delete is being used by the computer, go into your taskmanager under the processes tab and try to find something thats running which has something close to that name, after that, click it, hit end task, then try to delete it.
^^^ Absolutely correct. In some rare instances, if that doesn't work, it is the same reasoning, but just reboot your computer.
Yes, I've done all of this including checking task manager. Still no luck. however there's nothing in the processes window that's close to that file type. I'm not sure what's wrong exactly wrong. I've had this problem for about a week or two, the drivers weren't exactly to my liking so i rolled back to my old ones.
Hmm... go into task manager and close FireFox, Opera, or whatever, and close all download managers. If that doesn't work, then try redownloading the same file at the same place and see if it doesn't overwrite it.
Okay, yeah, i know it must be somewhere in my task manager, however directly after a computer reboot, i went to delete it and it didn't work. right after that i took a SS of my task manager, here's whats in it, maybe somebody can find something
Im not positive but it might be the ATI2VXX.exe and to the side make sure it says your useername (In this case it would be "Bryan") Maybe you should ask someone before ending it though because im not sure.
i went ahead and ended ATI2VXX.exe , however that didn't help it at all. still the same problem. I'm not too entirely sure on what you mean by delete your temporary files, what needs to be done to do that?
File > Programs > Accessories then go to Disk Cleanup. Select the drive your OS is installed on, then select Temporary Internet Files and regular Temp files. I really don't know what else it would be.
