Meh it's ok.... the sides seem to be too much and if you actually use them there is no way that is going to stretch nice meaning it's going to have to be fixed height which is just blah. Keep at it.

Now that it's close to becoming a template, I think that it best and represents gaming because it sort of sends out the sediments of gaming..ya know?

Though, I don't like the color red...

hydra, quit trying to make your point, I already read what you think, and plenty of people think otherwise, its an opinion and yours is biassed towards clean templates.

 

Only problem I see is none streachable content, and the content area is a bit plain. Overal nice work!

Don't get me wrong, you have worked hard on this, but I think you should give making a different version a go. Your descesion though. ^_^

 

Change that background image
Try actually shading the elementsand not just using emboses/layer styles
The quick links/new members boxes look awful, they don't suit the rest of the template.
The side borders are repetitive and non expandable.
The colours are drab and boring, the template looks too industrial.
You should use a black outer glow or something around the template so it 'goes' with the background abit better.
The navigation text needs some work.
I don't like it it depresses me, sorry.
