How Do I Log Into Ftp

    I CANT FIGUE OUT HOW TO LOGIN TO FTP I WANT TO START MY SITE DAMMIT BUT I CANT MAKE F'ING PAGES

    Slightly confusing, but I would guess the following:

    Port: 21
    Host: ftp.gpx-void.gfxdezign.com
    Login: roymust
    Password: (your password)

    you need a ftp program such as wsftp or cuteftp...then you will be able to log in, that is how i log into mine

    Oh yeah, sorry, I assumed he had a client already.

    Alternatively you can do it in a browser - ftp://[b]username[/b]:password@host - Although I strongly recommend a client.

    Download smartftp here so it's easier for you to log in and out of your server and also very handy for uploading files :)

    ok ive tried EVEY THING i cannot log in man i payed $2 for this $h17

    Use ftp instead of http for your web address.

    For example

    ftp://www.google.com

    It will tell you how many people are using the ftp at that time.

    Now for the log-in.

    Then use the file menu in your browser and choose login as...

    enter your name and password, and oilah! You've logged into your ftp.

    Get Filezilla, I use that, it's easy to use.

    or you can use the file manager in cpanel and click on the folder icons to navigate :)

    do you have a fire wall up? either you have a fire wall or your server sucks :)
