Anyone know a program that allows me to use my dvds and convert the files into .avi? I also need a program that allows me to add text onto the .avi file. If someone can help me, thanks

You can also go to http://www.videohelp.com/ or http://www.doom9.org/. They have guides & tutorials on how to convert your DVD files to DiVX or XViD videos (avi). They also have all the software that you would need to convert these files. I find that the guides in doom9.org is easier to follow. Goodluck.

http://www.doom9.org/ is an awesome website, has plenty of helpful hints/tuts and links to all the programs you'd ever need. Def check this site out.

TheBrotherhood313 - Nice programs but they dont let me do per episode.

PHOENiX GFX - Kind of confusion at first but still a bit confused. Most of the programs I downloaded updated so the tutorials might be missing an option or the new program took an option off.

Every program I tried won't allow me to ripped my dvd to a certain point and time.
